FAQ

How do I choose what license/level I need?

This again depends on your church and how mobilized your volunteers are. If you think you can get the training done in under a year, choose one of our monthly plans that automatically renews each month. If you have a constance influx of volunteers and staffers, an annual level may make better sense as it is more cost efficient over a 12 month term.

Can I login to the Online Training Library from any computer with my username and password, or am I limited to a single computer?

Yes, you can log in to the Online Training from any internet-connected computer. However, you can only be logged in to the OT on one computer at a time.

Can I download your online training?

The training segments may be watched online only as streaming video, and cannot be downloaded to a computer.

How do I reactivate my account?

Log in using your username and password, and simply renew or add a subscription through your renewal/subscription manager.

I click on an online training segment link but nothing happens, no pop up window appears.

Be sure you have a JavaScript enabled browser. You may need to disable a pop up blocker and you must have the Adobe Flash 9 player installed to view the movies.

I would like to change some of my contact information. How do I do this?

After you log in with your username and password, click on the Change Password/Edit Profile link located in the ‘useful links’ header.

How may I contact your Customer Service or Technical Support Departments?

If you know your Order/Invoice number or your username/password, please mention it when you contact us. Click here for our Contact information.

I would like to cancel my subscription. How do I do this?

After you log in with your username and password, click on the My Account link located on the upper and lower menus.

I have a 56k connection/ the online training segments are very slow to load up.

Our service is best viewed through a broadband connection, such as DSL or cable modem access. We do not recommend using our Online Training Library with a 56k connection. If you are connecting to the internet using a slower connection you can still view our training segments, but you will experience longer download times. Tip: If you wait until the entire movie downloads (visible when the play bar at the bottom of the training segment turns dark), you can watch it without hiccups or interruptions.

Why does my streaming online training segment from the MinistrySafe.com Online Training Library keep pausing?

Because we use progressive streaming and variable bit rate movies, sometimes Flash gets confused, and starts playing a video before it has cached enough content to play through without stopping. If you pause the video, and wait for more (or all) of it to download before you resume playing, it will play without pausing continually. You can tell how much of the video clip has downloaded by looking at the movie controller bar. You will see the bar fill up with a dark grey line, from left to right, as the video downloads. Once the grey portion reached the right side of the controller bar, the training is completely downloaded into your hard disk cache.

I'm still having problems, who can I contact to help?

Please use our Contact Form to write a detailed description of your system profile (i.e. what operating system you are running), what apps are running automatically at log-in, what type of computer, what speed connection you have (if online) and details of the problem you are encountering. You will receive a response as soon as possible. Click here for our Contact Form.

What types of credit cards do you accept? Can I pay by check?

If I sign up for your Online Training Library, are my credit card transactions secured?

When you sign up for the MinistrySafe Online Training, you can always feel confident that your credit card information is secure. Additionally, to protect against hackers or other unauthorized personnel, we have firewalls and other security measures protecting our server. When I place an order online with my credit card, it asks for my Security Code. Where do I find that?

Turn your credit card over, and you should see a number on the back, on the signature strip. Your Security Code is the *last 3 digits* at the end of that number.
